The City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) successfully conducted the DALAW TURO: Tool for Information, Education, and Communication Campaign on Waste Management focusing on Reuse, Reduce, Recycle, and Composting in Barangay Calawisan.
The seminar was attended by the Purok Leaders of the barangay and was headed by our Punong Barangay Hon. Arsilito A. Pejo, together with Barangay Kagawad Jose B. Ramoneda, Committee Chairman on Environmental Protection, and Barangay Kagawad Ruel A. Bensi, Committee Chairman on Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (BDRRM).
Resource speakers from CENRO shared valuable knowledge and practical strategies on proper waste management to help promote environmental responsibility and sustainability within the community.
This activity strengthens the barangay’s commitment to environmental protection and encourages active participation of leaders and residents in maintaining a clean and healthy surroundings.
