The CALAUPA actively participated in the Seminar on Disaster Preparedness and Response held on June 8, 2025, as part of the barangay’s continuing efforts to strengthen community readiness and resilience.
The seminar was headed by Hon. Ruel Bensi, Committee Chairman on Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (BDRRM), with valuable discussions and demonstrations led by our resource speakers from the Babag Bureau of Fire Protection:

- FO1 Joseph N. Degamo
- FO1 Vincent Rhey L. Reyes
Topics focused on disaster awareness, emergency response, and preventive measures to ensure the safety of residents during fire incidents and other emergencies. The activity emphasized the importance of preparedness, coordination, and quick response at the community level.
This initiative reflects Barangay Calawisan’s commitment to building a safer and more disaster-resilient community through education and collaboration.
